Getting started

Connect Stripe

If customers pay you through Stripe, connect it and the money Stripe pays out to your bank comes into the forecast from Stripe itself, not from a guess at your bank history. It’s read-only: nothing is ever changed in Stripe.

What comes in

  • Payouts on their way: each payout Stripe has started and your bank has not shown yet, on the day it lands, for what it really is.
  • The next payouts: the payments Stripe is holding, each on the day your payout schedule sends it, and what is ready to pay out now on your next payout day.
  • The days after: each weekday’s usual payout over the last eight weeks, raised or lowered for its month from up to two years of Stripe payouts. With under a year of payouts, every month counts alike; with under three weeks, your bank history is used instead.
  • Open Stripe invoices, on their due dates, cleared when they are paid.
  • Your subscriptions: what they bring in a month as last billed, after discounts, on the Stripe card under Settings › Data. They are already inside the payouts, so they are not counted again.

To connect

  1. Open Settings › Data and find Stripe.
  2. Choose Connect Stripe. Stripe opens its own page: sign in there if it asks, and choose the account. Flocuity never sees your password.
  3. Install Flocuity’s app and allow it to read. Stripe is read straight away, and again every night.

Good to know

  • Your bank’s own Stripe patterns step aside, so nothing is counted twice. Money In says so beside each one.
  • In Detailed, the Stripe card shows what was learned: the usual payout for each weekday, each month against the average, and how Stripe pays you out.
  • If you pay yourself out from Stripe by hand, its next payouts can’t be dated ahead. Payouts already started still come in, and the days after follow your history.
  • To disconnect, use Disconnect on the Stripe card. Stripe’s invoices and payouts leave the forecast, and your bank’s own Stripe patterns come back. To remove Flocuity from Stripe too, uninstall it under Installed apps in Stripe’s settings.
