The week that doesn’t add up
We asked small business owners about the last time cash ran short. These are the stories they told most.
A big client pays three weeks late, the same week payroll and a large vendor bill are due.
It went on the business credit card.
Sales run slow for a month or two. The rent, the payroll and the suppliers do not.
The owners skipped their own pay for several weeks.
A client payment slips a few weeks and lands on top of the quarterly tax payment.
It came out of savings.
Your bank balance shows today. Flocuity shows you the week that doesn’t add up, weeks before it gets here.
What you get
Six questions owners ask about cash
Each answer comes from your own bank history and the books you already keep, and it’s updated every morning. There’s no spreadsheet to rebuild.
What’s coming up?
Bills to pay and invoices to collect, in one list, in date order, brought in from QuickBooks Online or Xero or added by hand. A past-due invoice from your books is flagged and moved two weeks out, or on Plus, to the day that customer usually pays.
When does it get tight?
Set a cushion, the balance you never want to go under. Flocuity tells you the week you’d cross it, what causes it, and how much more money would get you through.
What do we owe in taxes?
Estimated income tax, sales tax and payroll tax dates in the forecast ahead of time, with an amount to set aside, so a quarterly payment is never a surprise.
Where is the balance headed?
A cash flow projection by day, week or month, built from your recurring bills, your payroll and the invoices you’re waiting on. It updates every day.
Who hasn’t paid?
Invoices past their due date, by customer, with how late each one is. Chase them, or move each to the date you now expect the money, and the forecast follows.
What does this week look like?
Every Monday, an email: the week that runs tight, the next two weeks of bills and invoices, who is past due and the next tax date. Every line opens the app.

Simplified
For the owner with five minutes. Where you stand and the best fix, the money coming up day by day, where the balance is headed, and who owes you.
Detailed
For the detail-minded owner, the bookkeeper and the accountant. Every line as a list or a calendar, every scenario side by side, what is owed by how late, every category, reports and exports.

Your numbers stay yours
Your bank and accounting connections are read-only: Flocuity reads transactions, and cannot change anything at your bank or in your books. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, each business is walled off from every other, and you can delete everything yourself at any time. We don’t sell your data, and we don’t train AI models on it.
How we protect your dataBring your accountant
On Standard and Plus, invite your accountant or bookkeeper at no extra cost, to edit or only to view. They get the Detailed view, where every line says where it came from, and exports to Excel.
Flocuity for accountantsWe also build AI tools for one job at a time.
A quote written from a photo of the job, bills read into your books, late invoices chased politely, a dashboard of your own numbers. Each one is built for your business on a fixed quote, and you approve everything it does.
Not a business? It works for a household, too.
The same forecast for paychecks, rent or a mortgage, and the bills in between. Set money aside for a vacation or a new car, and see what a home would really cost each month before you buy. It’s a smaller plan, and it costs less.
