Turn on two-step sign-in
With two-step sign-in, your password is followed by a six-digit code from an authenticator app on your phone. Someone who learns your password still can’t get in. It’s optional, and it’s set per login: turn it on once and it covers every business you belong to.
To turn it on
- Install an authenticator app if you don’t have one: 1Password, Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator and Authy all work.
- Open Settings › Your login, then choose Set up two-step sign-in.
- Scan the picture with the app. If you can’t scan it, type the key shown beside it.
- Enter the six-digit code the app shows, and choose Turn it on.
From then on, each sign-in asks for a code after your password. Codes change every 30 seconds. If one is refused, wait for the next, and check that your phone sets its clock automatically.
If you lose your phone
Write to support@flocuity.com from the email address you sign in with. Anyone who could read your email could write to us too, so we also ask a few things only you would know from your account, such as your business’s name, your plan, and the date and amount of your last payment. Then we switch two-step sign-in off, and you can set it up again on the new phone. There are no backup codes to keep.
Sign out of other devices
In the same place, Sign out of all other devices ends your sign-in everywhere except where you are. Use it for a lost laptop or a shared computer. If you think someone knows your password, change the password first.
