Your account
Your trial, billing and canceling
- A business gets a 14-day free trial and a household gets 7 days, once. A second business you own is billed from the day it is set up; a client an accountant sets up gets its own trial.
- You see your forecast before you enter a card. You enter it when you start the trial, and it isn’t charged until the trial ends.
- Plans are monthly or yearly, renew automatically, and are paid through Stripe. Flocuity never sees your card number.
- Charges appear on your card statement as LINK.COM* FLOCUITY. Link is Stripe’s payment service. It takes the payment and adds sales tax to the price where your state charges it.
To cancel or update your card
Only an owner can. Open Settings › Billing and press Manage billing. Canceling stops the next renewal; your plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for.
A business changes plan, or switches between monthly and yearly, on the same Billing page: moving up or down takes effect right away, with the difference prorated. Moving down locks the features the smaller plan does not have, and if it has fewer seats, open invitations are withdrawn first, then the people who joined most recently lose access; owners always stay. Nothing you entered is deleted, so moving back up brings it all back. On a household plan, write to support@flocuity.com and we’ll move you over.
After a plan ends
Your data is kept for 90 days, so you can start a plan again and find everything as you left it. We email the owners 30, 60, 75 and 89 days in, each time with the date. After 90 days the data is permanently deleted. The Billing page shows the date, and starting a plan again stops it.
If a payment fails
You’ll see a notice in the app and Stripe will retry. If it stays unpaid, access pauses until the payment is brought up to date, and nothing is deleted while Stripe keeps trying. If Stripe gives up and cancels the plan, the plan has ended, and your data is kept for 90 days and then deleted, as when you cancel.
